Presenting Pediatric Speech and Language Solutions

Conveniently located two blocks east of Meridian Street (US 31) at 116th and College Avenue in Carmel, Pediatric Speech and Language Solutions offers speech and language therapy in a one-on-one setting. Social skills groups can be created upon request. Caregivers are welcome to participate in the session or observe through a one-way observation window.


Services provided at Pediatric Speech and Language Solutions include the following:

    •       Brief and extensive speech and language evaluations

    •       Speech and language screenings on and off-site

    •       Hearing screenings

    •       Parent consultations

    •       Individualized speech and language therapy plan for each student

    •       Carryover programs individualized for each student for additional practice of targeted skills

    •       Parent lending library (take information and materials home with you)

    •       Individual Education Plan (IEP) preparation, support, and attendance

    •       Collaboration with other professionals that the child(ren) sees

Our Team

Jaime Miller

Speech & Language Pathologist  |  Owner

Jaime Backer Miller, M.A, CCC-SLP has  been working with children as a Speech and Language Pathologist since May of 2000. She worked for four years in an elementary school with preschool through fifth grade students doing group, individual, and classroom therapy sessions. Following her work in the Carmel Clay School System, Jaime worked in a pediatric private practice for four years. She conducted individual therapy sessions in her office, and was a Speech and Language Pathologist in the First Steps program for two years. Jaime has completed PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) Level One. Jaime loves working with children and families to help them communicate successfully.

Jen Menzel

Speech & Language Pathologist

Jen Menzel, M.S., CCC-SLP has been working with children as a Speech and Language Pathologist since 1996. She worked for nine years with children at Sacred Heart/Columbia St. Mary's, treating speech and language disorders in clinic and home settings. Jen has provided First Steps therapy since 2005, and is currently a Speech Pathologist for children preschool-4th grade in the Westfield Washington School District. Throughout her career, she assessed and treated children with defecits in language, feeding, swalling, articulation, and fluency. She worked with various diagnoses, including Down Syndrome, cleft lip and palate, dysphagia, apraxia, autism, and developmental delays. Jen loves working with children and says her passion is helping families help their children learn to communicate successfully. 

Stacy Moss

Speech & Language Pathologist

Stacy Lucich Moss, M.A., CCC-SLP was raised in Carmel, Indiana and is a graduate of Carmel High School. Stacy worked as an Office Assistant for Pediatric Speech and Language Solutions, P.C. while in college and graduate school. She started working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Noblesville School system in January of 2013, where she is still employed. She provides services to preschool through 12th-grade students in a variety of learning environments. Stacy currently resides in Fishers with her husband and 2 dogs.
